The Day May Be Near.

    Big Boy and Lil Mans case worker called me om Fri to tell me she had received the great aunts ICPC home study and it was approved.

    Before calling the great aunt she called CASA and yep you guessed it.....CASA agrees to the boys being moved to her home. Good thing I knew betted than to set my heart in what she had told me just four short says earlier about TPR!

    The little ones may be leaving us Feb 25.....this is the Fri after we go to court on Tues so anything ANYTHING could happen.

    Until then, we will continue with our normal routine and see what unfolds....

    At this point it is my understanding that since the great aunt became a certified foster home she will receive monthly foster care support but daycare will not be paid. I am not sure that she knows about the daycare not being paid for......so we shall see.

    Our hearts will break to see them go, but we trust God to heal our heart and to send us the next child/children to love.

    wow. twists and turns...i am sure she will get money...while no daycare? not that i am complaining, just curious :)

    you have had them for quite a while, it is hard to come to the end!

    Yeah, I'm not really getting the part about her having to pay the daycare. Daycare for one child in the city she lives in for two children is about $200 per week. So, we'll see what happens. I am just afraid that it will be discovered that it is a problem after they have been moved:(

    Yes, they have been placed with us for 8 1/2 mths now.....not going to be easy to see them go. Especially when we don't feel it is the best option for them.
