Yesterday we attended our 3rd and last PRIDE class!!!! We left with certificate in hand....WOOHOO!!! We are happy to have accomplished completing the class and being able to move forward.
The lady from the local CPS office came to speak with our class. She is in charge of matching the adoptive child to the adoptive family. In a way, my heart goes out to these couples attending with straight adopt as their chose. You see and hear the desire to have the new addition to their family last week.
Of course, we are working in reverese of everyone else in this class as we have already completed our home study and just have to finish up a few things like PRIDE which is now befind us. I will be faxing the certificate to our social worker in the morning and finishing up some additional things.
Our health inspecion is on Tuesday morning. Only a few things to go and we will just be sitting and waiting for a call. Then to choose to take the placement or not.
