Carrot Top had a good visit with his mom yesterday according to his case worker. She sent home with him snacks and toys again. The case worker says mom had a meeting with a counselor yesterday and got names of some places for in patient rehab that are supposed to be of no charge. We'll see how that goes and hopefully she will be able to work that out and follow through. Carrot Top has two siblings who mom no longer has custody of but the case worker is checking out the legalities to see if Carrot Top can have a visit with them at the same time as mom. Who knows how that's gonna play out.
Mom at this time still wishes for Carrot Top to stay with us and not go to a family member. Which makes us all very happy.
We have court again in a couple of weeks....placement hearing. Also, there is a family conference scheduled before court.
Hoping for a great weekend even though the high here is 99 degrees today!!!
