Dropped the boys off at about 3:15pm yesterday. Visitation really starts at 3:30pm but the parents are always early (except for one time) so I try to get there early and the social worker usually always takes them on back and lets them visit til 4:30pm anyway. I suppose that is because the other foster mom is either always right on the minute at 3:30pm or late.
So, I go to WalMart and get some things we need while they are at their visit and I pull into the back of the CPS office at exactly 4:30pm.
As soon as I open my car door the back door to the office opens to four screaming and crying kids. This time Big Boy was crying worse than he has in a couple of weeks. I have never seen Lil guy crying like this after a visit.
It was terrible.
Poor little guys.
Parents did bring some pepperoni, cheese, and cracker snacks. Along with some little Debbie Snack Cakes, and yep you guessed it Coke. Not that they don't ever get treats at our house but I definately do not give them Coke because I have seen the results of Lil Boy having a sugar drink. Not fun. At least they are trying....
FPA meeting this week....we'll see what these folks have to say this month. Most everytime they do a lot of complaining.

wow. i can't imagine dealing with all the crying, savannah has JUST now after a full year of visits started acting sad about leaving her mom after a visit, i think i got initiated a lot easier than you are.
