Visitation #7

Okay, I need to bring this poor blog up to date on visitations, etc.

The boys parents asked if we could have visitation #7 at the park. We agreed to do so. The boys case worker asked if we minded meeting her at the park. I told her that was not a problem at all....we don't mind helping get the boys to meeting locations other than the CPS office as long as the parents are acting decent and not causing problems....so far God has blessed us with this being the case.

The foster mom of the older two boys said she would not meet at the park and dropped the older brothers off at the CPS office. The case worker was not able to transport all four kids in her car and this is why she asked if we would bring our boys directly to the park.

Case worker calls me around lunch on the day of the visitation and said the mom has some pics she wants to give me of the family for the boys to have. Mother also asked to speak with me about what the boys have been doing lately, I said sure and I would talk with her at the end of the visitation.

We drop the boys off at the park. Mom and Dad are there with a cooler and some new toys. The boys are really, really excited about meeting there parents at the park.

Fast forward----we come back at the end of the visitation. Mom tells me she does not have the pictures yet. I waited for her to ask any questions that she may have and she never asked me one question. I volunteered some info about what the boys have been doing.

Mom acted very scattered and nervous. She tells me and the boys case worker that she is very depressed. Mom and Dad once again are very very dirty.

The boys get very upset and crying really bad when we leave. Mom and Dad keep prolonging the goodbye with everyone crying --including mom and dad.
