Day 2

I took off work on day two so that I could be home with the boys to hopefully help them adjust a little. The day went well and finally by late evening I had seen a few smiles. Only a few but they were smiles!

Neither boy was talking very much. Poor things I cannot even imagine what they were thinking at this point. The first night they both slept all night long. I was really shocked but I think they were both so exhausted from the day that they could not have stayed up if they had wanted to.

When C*P*S showed up mom decided to take the two youngest boys and run into the woods. She sent the two older boys the opposite direction running through the woods. The police had to search the woods to find them. This along with all the anxiety of the day and being removed from their parents left both boys so tired by the end of the night.

The 2 year old took a three hour nap while the 3 year old took about a hour nap.

Off and on throughout the day the 3 year old would be sitting in the floor playing with his toys and suddenly start crying and saying momma. So, So sad. I would just go over, pick him up and hold him as he cried. Poor guy....

At this point the 2 year old has still really not said anythig about his momma.

My daughter's high school softball team had a playoff game about a hour and 20 mins from our home. Probably not the best time to take the boys to a game but even in spite of having just been removed from there home, we could not miss my daughter's game. Much to our surprise the boys did excellent and the 3 year old loved watching the game!

I have got to figure out the boys "blog names"!!!
