that we are a foster/adopt home. After trying to adopt a family member and working through the system between two states for about 18 mths, losing a contested adoption, we came to accept the calling God had for our family as a foster home.
We decided that foster/adopt was the best option for our family. We have three biological children who are 18, 16, and 12. We hope to be that foster home that one day is accepting our 130th placement. However, we went the foster/adopt route ust in case God brings into our lives a special fit for our family of a child we are to adopt.
Ultimately, we feel at this time that the work God has for us is to be a foster home. This is the first time in my life that Iknow without a shadow of a doubt what I am supposed to be doing with my life.
The first time in my life that I know without a shadow of a doubt that my husband and I are following God's will for our lives and even though some of this is so sad, this feels so good.
I give all the glory to God that these two boys went to bed again tonight with a full tummy, clean, clothed and sleeping safely.
